John Zedolik taught English and Latin in a private John Zedolik all-girls school for thirteen years and in 2010 completed his Ph.D., in which he
focused on the pragmatic comedy of the Canterbury Tales. Cur- rently, he is an adjunct instructor at Chatham University in Pitts- burgh. He has had many jobs in his life including archaeological
field assistant, obituary writer, and television-screen-factory worker, which he hopes have contributed in positive ways to his writing. John’s poems have been published in such journals as
Abbey, Aries, The Chaffin Journal, Eye on Life Online, The Journal (UK), Plain- songs, Pulsar Poetry Webzine (UK), Straylight Online, U.S. 1 Worksheets, Poets'
Espresso Review and in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He also has numerous po- ems forthcoming this year. His iPhone is now his primary poetry notebook, and
he hopes his negotiation with technology in regard to this ancient art form contin- ues to be successful.
